In 2022, the River District team produced a short video to establish our commitment to building a sustainable and community-first neighborhood for all. Two years later, we continue this essential work with dedication. Most recently, our team has: - invested over $2 million in small, emerging, and disadvantaged businesses locally, and we continue to recruit SEB/DBE companies for all stages of development at the River District
- begun preparations for an innovative stormwater management system
- continued to lead community outreach with key community leaders and advocacy groups
- secured $15.4 million in Prime 3 funding to support affordable and workforce housing
- advanced planning for efficient, streamlined multi-modal transportation infrastructure at the River District, including bike and pedestrian pathways and publicly accessible green spaces.

What sort of progress can we expect to see at the River District in the next few months?
We are looking forward to continuing our excellent progress in developing the site's infrastructure. We are preparing the essential grid that will support the site for decades to come. Additionally, we're preparing to begin work on the site's first vertical and continuing our work with capital partners to finance the first phase of our residential development, which includes a substantial affordable housing
commitment. It's a process, but we are moving the needle.
